Gričevanje is an open-air festival of urban music and culture that took place from 2011 to 2015, initially in the winter, and then in the spring and fall, at Tuškanac and the Gradec Plateau. The organizers of the festival, the company Kupole.hr (better than tents d.o.o.), based the identity of the event on domes as a primary element, and it was inspired by the iconography and aesthetics of the „Grička vještica“. In addition to the music program, the festival initially had accompanying content in the form of the Witch’s Fair, Magic Bar, Bubble Bar, etc., which over the years, which due to changes in the maintenance period, which due to other factors, slowly disappeared, so that in recent years due to logistical difficulties and the city’s support came to an end.
The main objective of the festival was to introduce our domes to the general public, to present ourselves as a new company in the market with innovative products and services in order to attract the attention of all interested participants. This form of initial promotion of a new company is a risky move, but if it is correctly done it presents a “springboard” in the future business.
